Duke's Office for Institutional Equity works to promote equal opportunity and campus diversity. The team offers education and resources to help raise understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion issues. The office also monitors the compliance with University policies, as well as federal, state, and local laws. 

The office can help with concerns regarding Title IX violations by offering advice, assistance, and education to individuals and groups. The office also provides advice and assistance for employment equity, as well as diversity, equity, and inclusion issues.
