Arts+ & Doc+ Final Showcase

You're invited to the final showcase for the 2026 Arts+ and Doc+ summer programs. **** 2-2:45 p.m.: Presentations in the CDS Auditorium 2:45-4 p.m.: Open house across CDS buildings featuring gallery exhibitions, installations, and interactive artwork + a catered reception by Med Deli **** Over the past six weeks, Arts+ and Doc+ students have worked in small teams alongside local arts organizations and industry professionals to bring eight community-oriented projects to life. By leveraging new skills in documentary production, archival research, data visualization, podcasting, and oral history, along with craft skills in stained glass, quilting, and printmaking, students have supported our creative partners in addressing pressing societal issues and contributing to the vibrant arts community at Duke and in Durham. Students in both programs represent a wide range of disciplines and perspectives. Throughout the summer, they've collaborated closely with Duke faculty and staff, professional artists, and community partners to realize creative visions and make a positive impact throughout Durham and the American South.
