Declaration Page

Every insurance policy has a declaration page; it's at the front of the policy and shows all the basic details of your policy, such as your name and address, the premium, the policy limits, and the policy period. The rest of the policy will usually be a standard, preprinted document several pages long and may also include some special endorsements. It is the declaration page that makes your policy different from anyone else's. If you read nothing else in your insurance policies, at least read the declaration page to make sure the insurance company has got the basic details correct.
