Common Areas
Feedback
In a condominium building or development, those parts of the building that all the condominium owners have access to are called common areas. They include things like hallways, courtyards, lobbies, and gardens. The roof of the building is not really a common area, but it is treated like one because it belongs to everyone. Maintaining these areas (and the roof) costs money, which will come from the condominium association fund. The fund gets its money from the assessments.
